Care Leaver Advocacy
At Reconstruct, we support young people and adults leaving care through our Care Leaver Advocacy service. Our advocates help care leavers understand their rights, entitlements, and options, giving them the confidence to navigate life after care.

We provide independent support to ensure care leavers have a strong voice in decisions affecting their future. Our advocates help individuals prepare for key meetings, understand their pathway plans, and challenge decisions when something doesn’t feel right.

Care Leaver Advocacy can help with:
-
Understanding rights and entitlements as a care leaver
-
Housing, accommodation, and move-on planning
-
Education, training, and employment opportunities
-
Financial support, benefits, and grants
-
Relationships with professionals and services
-
Making complaints or raising concerns

Our advocates work at the pace of the individual, offering practical and emotional support so care leavers feel heard, empowered, and supported.
