Clear, concise policies and procedures which are up to date and easy to understand and use.
We train thousands of workers per year, conduct safeguarding reviews, chair serious case reviews and write overview reports. We work directly with hundreds of children per year as advocates, independent visitor and review chairs. We deliver a research précis service to all professionals and produce policy briefings about key national documents. We work regularly in England, Wales, Scotland and the Channel Isles. So – we find out about best practice in a variety of ways and integrate that knowledge throughout the company; this informs our policies and procedures.
Our policies include best practice – kept distinct from procedures. So your staff don’t just know 'what to do' but 'how to do it'. This is further enhanced by our intelligent search facility which makes keeping up to date with research so easy for your staff. We are committed to producing excellent procedures which empower staff and contribute to better outcomes for children. We can further consolidate this learning through the provision of a bespoke e-learning module based on your own procedures.
We have over 50 Customers – all of whom are local authority children’s services, safeguarding children boards or child protection committees. We promote and share best practice with all of our customers.
Recently we have been commissioned by Cheshire East, Wiltshire, Western Isles, Oldham and South Ayrshire to deliver their web-based child care or child protection procedures.
Costs are from £3,000 - £30,000 – dependent upon the amount of consultancy time needed. Once completed we can leave the procedures with you to update or we can continue to update for £1,500 per annum.
