Child protection proceduresReconstruct has developed a new approach to writing procedures. We use an easy to operate computer web-based format, written in plain English by child protection professionals. This forms the basis for a set of procedures which we can then work on with you to adapt to fit your LSCB requirements. Our procedures explain what needs to be done and why; if people want or need to know more, it is linked to source documents (legislation and guidance) and research findings. You can include all sorts of learning techniques including handouts from training courses, videos and research papers. As a web-based system written in plain English these procedures can be made accessible to young people and their families as well as other professionals and the general public through your authority's website.
