All professionals need to base their practice on what
works best but, although research is now more easily
available, it can be hard to find the time to read and distil
the key messages. This course demonstrates how
practitioners can access relevant research findings and
apply them to their own areas of work. It shows how,
when faced with risk and uncertainty, they can draw on
their own experience, together with that of the family
and other professionals.
