Attachment theory is seen as crucial to the understanding of the impact of disruption and change on the long-term emotional development of children.This training gives
participants the opportunity to explore the concepts of
attachment and attachment disorder and consider
techniques for its assessment.The course considers the
experiences of looked after children and explores the
implications of attachment disorder for practice.
