Consultancy

Our consultancy package starts with a brief, defined process of audit and needs analysis.

We will meet key personnel central to the process and examine the internal and external factors that will enhance or limit the success of the project. We examine what works well in your organisation and what you think should change

We then produce an audit report that clarifies the decisions that need to be made and the options for future work. Often this will be in stages, so it allows you to choose how much you want us to do and what you can do in house. It also makes controlling the costs much easier.

This means the audit is a service in itself. It sets out the ways in which we would be able to offer help in making the changes that you want to happen but it is also a document that you may use independently of Reconstruct.

In this way you can be clear as to what service you will be getting from Reconstruct when before you commission us.

Strategic and Business Planning | TOP

Our simple approach to this subject ensures that managers are able to identify their own common language and clarify their thoughts about the differences between targets, performance indicators, measurements, etc.

With a focus on measuring efficiency as well as costs, this service enables an organisation to make better value for money decisions.

Serious Case Reviews | TOP

Our case manager is able to draw upon a multi-disciplinary team to undertake serious case reviews. Always conscious of context and emotions our reviewers will produce a report based upon relevant, prioritised learning points from which all agencies can learn.

Training Needs Analysis | TOP

We are able to carry out training needs analyses to whatever depth the customer requires. This can be a broad brush approach to a training programme, down to a detailed analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of individual team members.

Common Language and Thresholds | TOP

Working well together in child protection is the best way to ensure the safety of children at risk. Based upon our own research and experience with various authorities around the country, we are able to work with ACPC staff to develop a common language and shared thresholds.

Team Building | TOP

Our consultants provide team building to a wide range of staff, sometimes when things are going badly and sometimes when things are going well.

Management Development | TOP

Many managers are struggling to cope with the increasing demands of central government and at the same time trying to ensure that the job still gets done with fewer and fewer staff. We can provide mentors for caseworkers through to senior managers. A clear agreement is made at the outset so that you, we and the person being mentored knows what is to be provided.
