Mark Scanlon

Mark Scanlon is a skilled consultant social worker with many years experience in the field of children and families work.  Having worked within the statutory services for a number of years in operational and managerial roles he then moved into the voluntary sector to carry out commissioned expert witness reports on child protection cases. Coming back into the public sector he developed project and programme management skills and worked on a wide range of programmes preparing for the Every Child Matters programme. He has developed, run and commissioned training especially for the integrated working agenda and has a keen focus on involving the participation of children, young people and families in developing community based models of service provision. He now works as a service manager for an outer London borough and specialises in Integrated Working and developing models for reaching all levels of children, young people and families in need.
