Shaun Moran

Shaun Moran qualified in social work in 1986 and worked for 20 years in Children and Families in Fife. He has worked as a practitioner and manager in a variety of settings including fieldwork, residential and staff development. Latterly he was the Service Manager for Residential and Throughcare services.

Shaun now works as an independent social worker ,safeguarder and consultant. He spends most of his work time coaching and mentoring managers in social care organisations.

Shaun is also interested in integrating new methods into social work. He uses Video Interactive Guidance (VIG) both in direct work with families and in coaching managers. He is a Trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Practitioner of Developmental Behavioural Modelling (DBM). He maintains a small private practice as a therapist and is involved in training others in NLP and DBM.
