Maureen MoranMaureen Moran graduated from Strathclyde University in 1993 with a BA in Community Education and since then has been employed predominantly in the Voluntary Sector. Maureen worked for 9 years in a large voluntary project in Glasgow developing and managing various childcare and youth projects, including a Community Nursery, Out of School Care, International Youth Exchanges, Youth Information and Streetwork Project and a Princes Trust Volunteer franchise. In the last two years Maureen has taken up post as a Funding/Development Officer with the Scottish Out of School Care Network (covering the West of Scotland) and is currently assisting childcare projects with funding ( in particular to the Big Lottery), development and delivering training to childcare projects on various issues of sustainability including: recruitment and retention of staff, supervision and appraisal, monitoring and evaluation, funding streams, assertiveness, policies and procedures (care commission), debt management and business planning. |
