Liam Wells

Liam Wells, graduated from St Andrew’s college of Education in 1990 with a degree in primary education. He taught in the primary sector for 2 years before returning to full time education graduating from Paisley University with a post graduate diploma in drug and alcohol studies.

Liam worked with Glasgow City Council addiction services for 10 years being latterly employed as senior addiction worker with criminal justice responsible for the addiction element of the pilot for Drug Treatment and Testing orders before moving into policy and planning with youth services at Stirling Council where he obtained his Masters in Business Administration from Stirling University.

Currently, Liam is employed as Team manager for addiction services within a busy children and families team . His responsibilities also include the management and monitoring of purchased addiction provision.

Liam is one of the lead trainers for the delivery of Getting Our Priorities Right and has a particular interest in children affected by parental substance use
