Sam Chapman

Sam Chapman qualified as a social worker in 1976. She started her career as a residential social worker working with adolescents including those in secure units before moving into field social work. Sam has worked in statutory sector, children and families departments in inner city London and Bristol and a shire county. Other practice experience includes positions in a GP practice, hospital and child guidance clinic.

Sam moved into training as lead multi-agency child protection trainer, including joint investigation training and also continues to teach in Further Education and Higher Education on BSc Social Work courses. Sam is currently employed in a Local Authority training team engaged in workforce development and works for Reconstruct as a part-time Associate trainer.
