Jason Williams

Jason Williams has worked with children, young people & their families, in a variety of settings in both the statutory and independent sectors over the last fifteen years.

He is a foster carer and has previous experiences of working as a trainee probation officer; ‘group worker’ for adults with learning difficulties in a day centre; youth worker and social worker where he obtained post graduate academic awards and relevant professional qualifications.

More recently Jason has gained extensive knowledge and insight from working with ‘looked after’ children and he was a member of a local authority foster panel for two years. Before joining Reconstruct full time he worked for a multi disciplinary project, that works with children & young people with sexually harmful behaviour and their families; whereby he undertook consultation, assessment and therapeutic interventions intended to reduce risk and help children stay safe.
